A life-long resident of Southwest Dallas County, T. Daniel Sheppeard began his training under Mr. Jim Choate in 1984 and achieved the rank of 1stDegree Black Belt in 1987. He achieved the rank of 4th Degree Black Belt in 2006. He has been an instrumental part of the training of hundreds of students and dozens of Black Belts. Mr. Sheppeard is renowned for his kata expertise and teaching ability.
Mr. Sheppeard's best recommendations come from those who train with him. Mr. Choate describes him as having "an unbelievable amount of knowlege". His students call him "confident, wise, powerful, and caring".
